# DARO 2.0 SDK Overview

The DARO 2.0 SDK is a new SDK with improved ad response performance, revenue optimization, and ease of integration. You can move to the DARO 2.0 SDK while keeping your existing Ad Units.

## What has changed?

| SDK performance improvements | Ad performance has improved by an average of 10%. |
| Revenue optimization algorithm improvements | Revenue optimization is now more advanced. |
| Expanded exclusive ad demand | Ad demand available exclusively through DARO has expanded significantly. |
| Size optimization | The SDK now has a smaller footprint. |
| Enhanced security | An encryption key system provides stronger security. |
| Improved stability | A more stable monetization experience. |

Actual performance and revenue vary with your app environment, placements, and operating conditions.

## Already using DARO?

Update your dashboard first, get your Integration Key, and then update the SDK in your app. **Updating the dashboard does not update the SDK in your app.**

You do not need to replace existing Ad Unit IDs. Check your platform's guide for changes to SDK dependencies, integration settings, and the APIs you use.
